Calling in to the Guy James show.

I know some of you have called his show before. I'd really like to call in next week (or perhaps the week after) because I have some interesting ideas to discuss with him and he could use a break from all those "Democrats = Communists" callers.

What's it like after you call in? Does it take long to get on the air? What are the odds that he'll take my call. I'm interested because long distance costs a lot on those international calling cards that I have to use and because I think I'll be calling from a hotel. Can any of you provide input?

1. I have not usually waited more than ten minutes to get on the air

And you might want to PM Frank Frankly or Buckeye Beach and arrange a call in advance. I don't know if they do that but I certainly think they would consider it.

2. When I have called from Canada

and I tell them I'm calling from Canada and paying for the call, they've usually put me on pretty quick (within a few minutes).

3. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes..

There are several lines, and I have never gotten a busy signal yet..

Try not to call just before they go to the news breaks :)
