Chris Matthews says, "John Kerry has the most liberal voting record in"
Chris Matthews says, "John Kerry has the most liberal voting record in the Senate, and that's a fact." (just now, MSNBC).

What bunk!

If "The National Journal" (which declared how liberal Kerry supposedly is) says something, it must be true?

Barbara Boxer, Russ Feingold, and other Senators are more liberal than Kerry.

6. the quote tonight
Edited on Wed Mar-03-04 12:54 AM by Eric J in MN
Chris Matthew said, "John Kerry has the most liberal voting record in the Senate, and that's a fact."

-------------------------------

I don't agree with the statement, but those were Matthews words tonight.

I assume he was basing that on a report in "The National Journal" which John Kerry was asked about during Sunday's debate.

In my original post, the statements not in quotation marks are my own.

I'm saying it's bunk, while Matthews is saying Kerry has the most liberal voting record of any Senator.

5. just for once matthews
take a look at the world your children will live in-where the us was once respected but now reviled- our failed wars, the suffering of now 3 countries we have invaded (i am including Haiti), a country of economic strength now teetering on bankruptcy-a degraded environment-vanished cultural programs because there will be no spending on the arts and finally a dark age scientific mentality that will most assuredly cause our country to fall behind in finding the cure for disease - how can someone who worked for tip O'Neill carry so much water for a man and an ideology that seeks to harm that great mass of middle, working and struggling Americans. i swear the media took not a station break but a conscience break

11. No, but..
They're preparing the "too liberal to be President" propaganda line, and Matthews is doing nothing to dispel that notion.
