4. Kerry needs Jane Fonda
to stay as far away as possible. There are no doubt some Vietnam vets who have forgiven her for her trip to Hanoi, but I know guys who still foam at the mouth whenever her name comes up. Not the kind of ally he needs as he prepares to battle the Republican attack machine.

5. I admit to being one of the foamers
I was a platoon Sgt in Vietnam and the picture of Hanoi Jane behind the anti aircraft gun in Hanoi drives me crazy. Kerry did his time and earned the right to say whatever he wanted. Hanoi Jane was just a spoiled rich kid trying to make herself more famous.
