It's 2005, And the Media Wants To Prove That It's Not Biased

Should a Democratic candidate win the White House in 2005, what do you bet that the corporate media, that has been so brazenly supine and indolent during the entire Boosh administration, will decide to "prove" that it is "independent" and "unbiased" by attacking the new administration and leaving the Boosh administration's legacy of kleptocratic knavery unexamined?

The Democratic prez would be subject to a much greater degree of scrutiny than the * maladmin ever was.

Look at Carter and Clinton. Both were treated unfairly by the media, who in many cases gleefully towed the GOP line.

2. the worst part is...

They would use their soft treatment of Bush to justify being extra-tough on a Dem. They'll say that the "pendulum is swinging back" and consumers are demanding it," or "after what happened when we were lied to about a war, Americans are demanding accountability from a new president."
It'll be the same thing as saying they couldn't investigate Bush for ANYthing because of "Clinton fatigue."
