CNN "so tired" report on Democratic candidates
There was a report on CNN tonight which said that the Democratic candidates in Iowa are working 14 hour-days one-day-after-another.

Then it ridiculed them by showing video of them with the only sound playing the Beatles song "I'm So Tired."

So when Democrats work hard, therefore they're tired and implicitly weak.

But George W. takes a record number of vacation days, and CNN doesn't comment on that (as far as I've seen).

It's analogous to how in 2000, the NY Times Nicholas Kristoff wrote that George W. is more of a regular-guy than Al Gore, because Al Gore served in Vietnam and George W. didn't, and it's more typical not to have served in Vietnam.

Republicans may rant that CNN and the NY Times are "liberal," but I disagree.

1. Republicans are dumb.
They perpetuate their own lies like a pack of mangy dogs all sniffing each other's butts in a ring...

2. Only "little people" work hard, according to Repukes
Successful people get other people to work hard for them--it's the Repuke way . . .

3. CNN has become, for the most part, a sickening shell of what it used to be
it disgusts me, I very rarely watch it anymore....

5. I'm glad I didn't see that
There would be one less working television in my house, and I can't afford a new one.

6. Um, I didn't see anything wrong with this piece.
It was just a lighthearted, halfway-humorous segment, nothing more. CNN is quite whorish at times--but this was not one of those times. Relax!

7. if CNN did similar halfway-humorous pieces on George W.
If CNN did similar halfway-humorous pieces on George W. in which they showed video of George W. while playing "I'm So Tired" on the soundtrack, for example, maybe the halfway-humorous piece on the Democratic candidates wouldn't have bothered me.
