Ed Shultz's relentless push for health reform
Edited on Thu Dec-10-09 10:00 PM by SHRED

I really appreciate Eddie's passion and fire in taking to the airwaves and giving the health insurance industry and big pharma HELL.
He does this day in and day out on both his radio and MSNBC television show.
He consistently has Kucinich, Sanders, and Dean on his shows.

I know he has turned people off here at times and people have been downright hostile towards him but he deserves mad props for what he is trying to do for us.
He has moved more and more to the Left over the past few years and we should acknowledge that.

Thank you Big Eddie!!

3. In a year when so many Dems dissappointed us by moving right
Ed has been a refreshing surprise, as I thought I would find him too conservative. But it hasn't turned out that way at all.

I like Ed Shultz!

4. You haven't seen anything yet.
I didn't really like him at first but realized that he was labor and union friendly back before Obama was elected. When he jumped on the health care wagon, it was a natural extension of his union proclivities. Once we move past the health care as an issue, watch him come down with his Ed hammer for labor and small business. I agree.

I :loveya: some Ed.

6. He's one of the good ones and one who tells you what he really feels. This means
a LOT to him. I heard him say that's why he and his wife moved to NY (to do the TV show) because he felt he could help more that way.

7. I was an Ed fan before it was cool
And I caught a ration of shit here on DU for defending him back in the day. I don't agree with 100% of what he's now saying about Health Care reform but once again he is the most passionate advocate for the interests of regular people.

8. So true.
To say he has been leading the charge is the understatement of the year. The only time he lets up is when he starts talking about Balloon Boy or Tiger Woods for a while. Nobody is perfect, but Ed Schultz is certainly promoting HCR like nobody else.

12. Yes, Ed has been doing a great job of keeping this on top...
and pushing politicians and pundits to discuss the necessity for reform.

14. Ed Schultz Rocks!
Big Eddie is a true hero.

I love that he's staying on top of the health care reform debate and telling it like it is.

Those of us who are "average working people" finally have a voice!
