Sarah Palin puts out an incendiary lie, calculated to throw gasoline on a fire, and the media says she "calls for civility" after her comments ...

1. I see this as feeding the "emotional female reaction" stereotype, and it stinks.

I've seen male politicians react just as emphatically in similar situations, but such bold reactions from men don't often lead the national and international news.

That was a deeply insulting question. She answered with some spirit, yes, but she answered him in a direct fashion. "If you ask me what I think, I will answer you." What an ignorant person this male "student" was.
