Documents not produced, documents produced ...
Where was the media paying such close attention to the President not producing documents? Okay, it was the Vice President, and he was defying a court order, but the media just let the fact that Dick Cheney never producing the documents of the February Energy meetings just slide into oblivion, despite "breaking the law" (defying the court order) for YEARS.

Where was the media paying such close attention to documents produced by the President proving he was there when he said he was? Now I'm talking about Bush's National Guard experience. The Bush White House produced exactly ONE document to "prove" that he showed up ... it was a document with actually no identifying marks showing Bush ... but it showed that he took advantage of the public option of health care ... despite his daddy's money, he showed up to have a military dentist check his teeth, and it was paid for with taxpayer dollars. <--------> However, a document was produced which "proved" that Bush showed up ... and it was immediately denounced as "FAKED!" by someone who claimed that he could produce it with a computer, and had "intimate knowledge" of the military's ability to have specific typewriter fonts available to them ... and Dan Rather was forced out of his job for covering the controversy.
