The picture that DID appear on the on-line version of the paper was Clinton with outstretched arms under a BREAKING NEWS story about a rape suspect



Yesterday Palin appears at the NASCAR track (RIR) and this is the headline (with color photo of Palin touching the chin of a person with Downs syndrome)
Just below (partly above the fold) the headline "Dow Leaps 936 points on aid to U.S. banks"

Also below the Palin story is BREAKING NEWS on McCain's speech at Va. Beach

1. My local rightwing rag has been running an anti-Obama political cartoon almost daily.

When you consider the small population of rw political cartoonists, the editorial staff must be combing the cartoons with a fine-toothed comb.

We never see anything anti McCain, and the article distribution is similar to that in the OP.

Gawd, I love redneck newspapers.

You can figure out why. The rest of the T-D are hard to describe in terms that even suggest relativity to the actual world.
