How Msnbc Is Trying To Be Like Fox. :shrug:

1. Fair and balanced, eh?
Fox, MSNBC, and every other media outlet has one goal and one goal only...to attract the biggest audience it can in order to charge it's advertisers as much as it can. PERIOD. Fair, balanced, or what have you, reporting is secondary to achieving the highest possible ratings.

2. Exactly! As Chomsky showed.
I think Noam Chomsky showed that nicely when he proved his "propaganda model" in order to explain media behavior (Herman/Chomsky, Manufacturing Consent).
