Who are the best modern journalists?
Bill Moyers, rajiv chandrasekharan, nic robertson are on my short list.

name others with impeccable journalistic standards and breathtaking style, and the newspaper they write for!

this should be fun.

1. She's local but...
Edited on Mon Sep-27-04 03:13 PM by Bluzmann57
I'm going to say a lady named Barb Ickes from the Quad City Times. She does mostly local stuff, as she is a Quad- Citian, but she reports and things get done. And she's one of us, at least as far as attitude. She did a story on the deplorable Nazi-like tactics used by the security people when bush was in town in August. I emailed her and complimented her and she actually got back to me and more or less indicated she's a Democrat. She did come right out and say that btheir tactics have no place in America. On Edit- you can read her stuff at www.qctimes.com

9. Nikki Finke, columnist at LA Weekly
Nikki Finke, columnist at LA Weekly, consistently provides well-reported, well-reasoned liberal political columns, especially about Big Media.
