need help with letters to the editor in swing states
I'd like to get some pro-Kerry letters to the editor into swing state newspapers. (I've had some success with national ones, including 15 in NYTimes: http://ilya.cc/lett ).
Problem is, I'm not in a swing state and they only publish locals.

Would anyone living in a swing state be interested in taking letters that I write, signing them and sending them to local newspapers? Of course, only letters you agree with -- and you can edit them as you see fit.

If you can help me with this, please email me at: mycar at mit dot edu.

1. Yes, I can help...
I'm in Pennsylvania and, frighteningly enough, "Bush/Cheney" lawn signs are starting to pop up around here! Also, a scathing editorial appeared in our local paper regarding the Heinz family fortune and how, apparently, John Kerry and Theresa Heinz Kerry are personally responsible for the outsourcing of jobs and, ergo, are responsible for all the jobs lost in Ohio, Pennsylvania, etc. etc. The numbnut seems to have just learned how to read and discovered his ketchup was made in Mexico (Of course, I am surprised that he even OWNED a bottle of Heinz ketchup - isn't that un-Republican or something).

I don't understand these people - we are one hairs breath away from conscription and this tool is worried about where his ketchup comes from! Oops, sorry for the name calling - I guess that makes me one more liberal, socialist, marxist - whatever...

3. I'm from Massachusetts...
So I'll be no help (thankfully). I know how you feel though. I almost feel like my opinions and arguments are a waste here. Believe me, I deal with plenty of republicans, but the state will go for Kerry (woohoo!).
