1. I only caught the last half of Norville's show that night

and thought she did a very good job. The transcript from the beginning looks bad though, ugh.

4. I saw that interview from start to finish, and

I thought she was making a point very cleverly. Her innocent questions were pointint up the fact that he wasn't even present when the incidents she questioned him occurred. It never occurred to me that she was ignorant of the answers, and I am still inclined to believe that she was laying a little trap. I agree with him, however, that they do not do enough preparation.

They are the worst...they just repeat Repub talking points.

3. I really like Bob Somerby

But I think he was a bit harsh on Olbermann. In general, Olbermann does a great job, and is better-prepared than any of the other hosts on television. Witness the fact that he could only summon up one paragraph to bash Keith.

5. Somerby's criticism of Olbermann seems to be that

Olbermann mentioned one of the veterans standing up for Kerry without mentioning the others at that time.

I don't understand why that would be a problem.
