Why does our media make up Bush Quotes and not use the real Quotes below?
"Anybody who doesn't think I'm smart enough to handle the job is underestimating."

"Will the highways on the internet become more few?"

"I do not believe we've put a guilty - I mean innocent - person to death in the state of Texas."

"Keep good relations with the Grecians."

"Actually, I - this may sound a little West Texan to you, but I like it. When I'm talking about - when I'm talking about myself, and when he's talking about myself, all of us are talking about me."

"It's going to require numerous IRA agents." - on Al Gore's tax plan he wants to replace IRS agents with the Irish IRA terrorists?

"I know the human being and fish can coexist peacefully."

Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we.

People say, how can I help on this war on terror? You can do so by mentoring a child; by going into a shut-in's house and say I love you

I've got an additional responsibility to hug and that's me - and I know what it's like

There's an old saying in Tennessee - I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee - that says, fool me once, shame on - shame on you. Fool me - you can't get fooled again

There's no cave deep enough for America, or dark enough to hide

It would be a mistake for the United States Senate to allow any kind of human cloning to come out of that chamber

There's no doubt in my mind that we should allow the world's worst leaders to hold America hostage

I'm the master of low expectations

These people don't have tanks. They don't have ships. They hide in caves. They send suiciders out

First, let me make it very clear - poor people aren't necessarily killers

We are working hard to convince both the Indians and the Pakis ! there's a way to deal with their problems without going to war.

There's one terrible pilot !

I know the human being and fish! can coexist peacefully.

My administration has been calling upon all the leaders in the - in the Middle East to do everything they can to stop the violence, to tell the different parties involved that peace! will never happen.

A dictatorship! would be a heck of a lot easier, there's no question about it.

First, we would not accept a treaty that would not have been ratified, nor a treaty that I thought made sense! for the country.

It is time to set aside the old partisan bickering and finger-pointing and name-calling that comes from freeing parents! to make different choices for their children.

I know what I believe. I will continue to articulate! what I believe and what I believe- I believe what I believe is right. (articulate is a word used at Yale?)

But I also made it clear to (Vladimir Putin) that it's important to think beyond the old days of when we had the concept that if we blew! each other up, the world would be safe.

1. Now they do the opposite.
Now Bush reads strictly from script the "news" consistently show him actually speaking the words. But Kerry is often shown in the background with a "reporter" summarizing his words and then characterizing them. It is becoming a habit that has gotten little comment.

2. Newshour on PBS is only media not trying to keep Kerry from direct TV
contact with folks.

I did notice this - but then us tinfoil hat folks think a lot of things that happen at the same time that screw Dems at various US Media outlets are "usual" enough to have been - at least informally - "planned" !!!!

:-)

3. Glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this.
I was beginning to wonder if I was imagining it.

5. BECAUSE THE MEDIA ARE SELECTING THE PREZ
Most of the media are assholes. They are also cowardly hyenas who follow any lion.

Why don't you message them and give them a piece of your mind?

6. Making statements for Bush
gold out of straw has some hilarious results too when they credit some "new" policy statement to an accidental verbal blunder. By trying to give Bush's offhand gaffes rational credit they have also created issue fiascoes by rephrasing them as serious thought.

This is an embarrassing no win situation only they are keeping Americans from mocking the really good unintentional Bushisms.

This cover up is making Bush looking confused and boring instead of really fine slapstick.
