Total Bullshit. Any one can pick to relatively close bits of chatter and say they are credible. This is total political bullshit and I for one am quite sick of it.
I beg of the Bush administration. Please don't resort to the use of terrorism to ensure that you win again. People won't rally behind you this time. Feeding into people's fear to govern this nation has become over used. :hippie:
4. Maybe they are a little gun shy since they know they missed the
boat on the must go to war in Iraq plan. I have heard reporters from every network (except FOX) admit they should have asked more probing questions and checked out just where the info cam from and how did they know it was credible.
Time will tell, but it was very embarrassing for everyone in the news business.
When they sent out a warning last week (Thursday, I think) that there was an increased risk of an attack against CA or NV, CBS gave it a real "ho-hum." Noted the announcement but added "based on no new information." I think many in the media have had it and aren't going to be jerked around any more.
