1. Do you have a reference...
I'm just curious about who did the poll, number of people surveyed, etc.

11. Any idea if they will conducting another poll?
Every poll that has been released recently has shown Dean recieving bump of at least a few points. This poll is about four weeks old.

10. NO
someone made a post about who was winning where in the polls, and asked for someone to show a poll form November 10 onward that showed something different

I obliged and posted one

the fact is Dennis will *probably* be at about 15% on next months

14. Taken November 10th, or Released?
Usually the poll is taken over a couple or three days.

And it's a month old, which is one of the many reasons why I don't pay much attention to polls, even when they show my guy supposedly doing well. They change, and they're imprecise to say the least. Plus Ohio isn't going to vote for a very long time yet.

15. agreed, but that wasn't the point of the post
the poll is actually taken over a month long span, and is super scientific...but that wasn't the point

the point is someone made a post of compiled sci-poll data...and didn't include Ohios results of that same span

im sure it isn't intentional, but it happens that the poll, which should have been included, changes the results quite a bit

i felt that as a Kucinich supporter, i am obligated to bring this up

16. It's pretty much all about the name recognition- and little else
The PDF is an interesting read.

With the exception of Sharpton, you'll notice a distinct positive correlation between name recognition & reported voting patterns. Dean, ClarK & Kerry each had surprisingly low name recognition, whereas the supposed frontrunners had much higher name recognition that matched their standings. Interestingly enough, next to Sharpton, Kucinich has by far the highest negatives.

Another interesting finding is the gender differences. Men sure seem to like Gep a LOT more than women do. Ha! Wonder why that is?

17. Why isn't it ok...
For a supporter of a candidate to post a legitimate poll and celebrate his/her candidate doing well in the poll? Without the timing, etc. of the poll being picked apart...?

I do think it's important to get a link to be able to see the legitimacy of the poll...but that has been established here.

Again...congrats Dennis!

19. Lieberman will be shut down after NH
So he'll drop out after that, not even touching Ohio.

Even that, Dean is already working Ohio.

23. you're welcome:)
I have a feeling deep down inside this election is not going to be an open and shut case...and every bit of support Dennis receives will strengthen the voice of those of us who want to see the Democratic Party change

Dennis can win Ohio, and that is a statement...Dennis can also show well in California, New York, Florida, and might win a few smallish states

24. If it is an open and shut case
Then that might be considered evidence that the party won't change, which would be my pink slip from the party, and my invitation to the Greens, all in one! ;)
