Cohen runs first ads

State Sen. Burt Cohen, who is challenging Judd Gregg for his US Senate seat, has run his first radio ads of the campaign. They can be found in MP3 at his web site:

I just don't understand why he's running them on the Arnie Arnesen Show. Arnie's audience is largely made up of the sort of liberals who would be gung-ho for Burt to begin with. Maybe it's an organization-building thing. I just hope that he runs them on stations (WGIR, WXRV, WZID) where he isn't simply preaching to the converted. Still, it's good to see Cohen taking the fight to Gregg. Burt's a good bit more liberal than I am, but he is a good man, and has been a good legislator, especially in the area of environmental protection.
