LA Gov Race: Fundraising Report

State Attorney General Richard Ieyoub (D) has a comfortable lead in cash on hand for the governor's race.

According to finance reports filed yesterday, Ieyoub raised $820,000 in the second quarter of this year which consisted of April, May and June. He had $2.7 million in cash on hand.

Lt.Governor Kathleen Blanco (D) and former state Health & Hospitals Secretary Bobby Jindal (R) trailed Ieyoub with $1.5 million and $1 million respectively in cash on hand.
