Poll: Questions over Iraq lead to decrease in Bush's popularity in Va.
A poll of Virginians shows that President George Bush's approval rating in Virginia has fallen sharply _ apparently because of doubts about his Iraq policy.

The Times-Dispatch/NBC12 survey shows that 51 percent of Virginia adults view Bush as doing an excellent or good job. That's down 17 points from 68 percent 13 months ago in a poll by the news organizations.

Bush's decline comes amid growing concern over stabilizing Iraq and public opposition to a giant U.S. aid package.

The Virginia findings appear to track those in national polls, suggesting the conservative-voting state is politically competitive.

2. It is very difficult to believe
that 51% think that illegitimate moronic f***wit is doing an "excellent or good job". Are there that many rich people in Virginia ?????

6. No, but there are that many backwards freeper people in VA.
Except, as noted, in N. VA. The poll is encouraging, considering Bush is worshipped here. If I hear one more worshipper talk about what a "good, Christian man" Bush* is, I will :puke:

Also, they may not like Bush as much now, but that does not mean they will vote Democratic in the prez elections. They will hold their noses and vote the dope back in.

4. Yes, most of the state is still "freeperland"
except Northern Virginia, which is like a different state!

It still leans Republican, but their 13 electoral votes are within reach.

9. Sic Semper Tyrannis
Virginia's state motto is imprinted on its beautiful flag: A blue field which contains the seal of Virginia with the Latin motto "Sic Semper Tyrannis" - "Thus Always to Tyrants." (Adopted in 1776.) On the flag are two figures acting out the meaning of the motto. Both are dressed as warriors. The woman, Virtue, represents Virginia. The man holding a scourge and chain shows that he is a tyrant. His fallen crown is nearby.

The bush administration is a collective tyrant. I hope Virginia becomes a blue state, worthy of its flag.
