It's time to say it: Paging Al Gore
Too many of us (and by "us" I mean Democrats) de facto "getting over it" about Gore landed us here in the first place.

"Certain individuals" think that they can get away with anything.
And why WOULDN'T they think that? After all, they succeeded in engineering a presidential election with little or no consequences to them long term.

I propose that every democrat outraged by the California debacle and its result sign up for one or more of the Gore movements. A spike in Gore movement membership right now would send a message to the "certain individuals" that real people understand the linkage between Florida, Texas, and California. The snowball of election engineering must be stopped.

Yesterday, my vote was put in a pink provisional envelope and may or may not end up counting in the final tally. I should never have had to cast any sort of vote in the first place.

I've said my bit.
