I met, briefly talked, and got Dennis Kucinich's autograph tonight
He is a nice guy, has a good handshake, its funny really I shook his hand once after his speech inside, and just as I was going outside to took a breather, I see a guy talking to Dennis and the guy was my dad, my dad hadnt gone to save money so he walked around town, I still cant believe it. It was a great crowd of people there and John Conyers spoke also, I like him too.

21. Reintroducing?
He introduced legislation last year that would require the govt. to make sure that all citizens have *some* form of health care. Doesn't call for single payer. It just basically makes health care an entitlement.

So glad to hear about your experience John! I'm glad you had something so thrilling to keep you inspired! You're a good one to have on any team. Dems and DK are all lucky to have you!

We want to hear more JK!!!

And if you haven't already, you need to go give that Dad of yours an extra big hug. I think you've got the best Dad in the world, he walked around outside just so you could participate in something special to you. That's just awesome.

I'm really excited for you!

9. JK, I am SO happy for you.
You are even younger than I was when I campaigned for Dennis Kucinich so many years ago. Here's to the beginning of many happy memories of Dem victories yet to come.

17. Isn't he WARM?
Was so impressed when I met him that he is so humble and warm, as a person, reflecting or the basis of his policies. Not a haughty insider, or a know it all, or looking to special interests, just himself.

So glad you got his autograph. Save it, because this is the beginning of the revolution and you were there!!

BTW, DK will be on C-Span tomorrow, call in John Kleeb.

18. We're gonna frame it
I may call in but I get butterflies on the phone and chances are I will be busy tommorow. He is great, my dad didnt go inside tonight because he was worried about money and all so what happened is, my dad is walking near the church and regonizes Kucinich because he knew of him as the boy mayor of Cleveland. He starts telling DK about me, and I see Dennis but I dont realize who the man is talking to him, and its my dad, DK and a staffer got me signed up for his campaign, finally I am in although Ive been in for a while. Kucinich is such a great guy.

19. He is great. He is so real.
The main thing is he needs a better organization behind him. Because the news media is not the side of the American people, we need to work harder than the supporters of the candidates who tow the Republican line. Personally, I think Dennis needs some people running his campaign who are more politically savey and know how to put him more in the spotlight. He is so good that volunteers around where I live are happily willing to put in whatever hours it takes to get this guy into the White House. Last Sunday he spoke to a packed church in Laguna Beach. Everyone there was willing to run out and become a full-time volunteer. Some were talking about wanting to volunteer 24-7. However, he's going to need all the help he can get. Last week his scheduler scheduled him out of engagements that could have netted him the kind of money Dean has been getting. There are some reputable groups that are willing to donate really big bucks and someone in his campaign structure isn't interested. Maybe it's that Dennis wants to get to the White House just because everyone loves him and not because of money. This might work. But the volunteers need to do everything possible to make sure he gets there.
