Pool money?
Does anyone think we could get the eight candidates that don't win the nomination to spend the money they raise exclusively on the nominee, bolstering the nominee's campaign? This could really help the Dems close the money gap. I mean if we all want Dubya out, why not?

1. Pool money....legal??
I for one am not sure. I don't think spending monies donated to a particular candidate for the benefit of another candidate is legal, or ethical for that matter.

2. I don't think they can GIVE the money to another candidate,
but they could probably run media campaigns against Bush (or ads supporting the nominee).

The issue is that they get to keep the money for future political bids if they don't spend it all. That's very attractive to all of them, I'd imagine.
