Want A Good Laugh? The GOP Recruitment Video!
Tired of the pessimism and angry protest? Tired of negative attacks? You have a choice - support the Republican's positive agenda.

I have been watching this over and over, and it just keeps getting funnier! The keyboards are classic!

1. what's the video format?
My system's kind of weak and I want to make sure I have the right software before venturing into the topsy-turvy land that is the "GOP Positive Agenda" ;)

9. It's RealVideo
I couldn't get it to work in my browser, but RealPlayer plays it if you tell it to open the URL:

rtsp://real.streamtoyou.com/rnc/teamleaders.rm

And yes, it's really more of the stupid, fear-mongering-to-idiots the Cons have become known for.

2. Thank you, that's hilarious
There were a couple of really good Democratic sound bytes in there.

These guys are totally clueless. They don't have a feel for what's happening at the grassroots at all. This is one more thing that's going to backfire on them.

3. Ha ha ha ha....
We don't negatively attack anyone! We only bash Clinton daily, call the peace protesters unpatriotic, and call the polcie on Democrats when they refuse to bow to us!

5. Thanks Doc,
that was worth the trip over.
Dang, listening to this, one would thing that us Dems invented negative campaigning, while the white gloved Repugs always kept things nice.
what a load of bullshit.

6. Is it just me
or does it sound like they either dubbed Deans voice or seriously altered it? It sounds nothing like him.

The last line is the best. Dean shouting, "Thank you very very much, thank you very very much!" The video claims this is a "negative attack". What the?

7. Can anybody provide a different link???
I've had to restore my Windows 98 system and I don't think my Java is restored, so the link from this page to the actual video isn't even in place. So how about a direct link to the video?
Please email a copy to me directly at Ray@LiberalsLikeChrist.Org .
Thanks.

8. I'd sure like to know
one point of their "Positive" agenda......

Could it be?

"Hey, he hasn't been impeached yet....!"

10. Angry Attacks, Shrill Protest And Political Hate Speech
check out this page, where they have gone to the trouble to collect the best of the democractic hits.

I don't think the RNC are doing themselves any favors with this site. Eeeediots.

11. excellent gephardt quote:
(I didn't see this debate)

GEPHARDT: Bush Has One Idea, "Tax Cuts For The Wealthiest Americans." " only has one idea in his head -- tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, followed by tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, followed by tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans." (Democrat Candidates Debate, Baltimore, MD, 9/9/03)

An argument so simple, even Dubya might understand it!

12. the quotes are excellent
it does go to show how out of touch they are, they really do have the best collection of quotes from and for dems.

I have to thank them for pulling out this Dean quote that I had the honor to witness in person:

Dean Then Berated Bush For Suggesting American Troops Could Come In 18 Months.
"If the President thinks our troops will be out in 18 months, he is smoking something he forgot about when he was at Yale." (Rebecca Cook, "Howard Dean Rallies Supporters In Seattle," The Associated Press, 5/15/03)
http://www.gopteamleader.com/myissues/view_issue.asp?id=1161

I can attest -- the crowd went wild, there is no denying that Seattle loves a pot reference.

13. The World Would Be Much Better Off If Bush Lit Up Now and Then
Instead he was a coke-snorting alcoholic that got on the wagon and became a religious fundamentalist. I guess we hit the trifecta.
