the way the I/P issue is discussed in campaigns is "not helpful", to borrow an annoying phrase.

It really hurts the dems, too. The I/P issue is very divisive in our party, it does no good to exacerbate that division.

And anyway, if the U.S. is going to help end that conflict, I really doubt it's going to be done with an ideological approach. The more pragmatic the better.

I watch the attacks here all the time. I don't participate. Yeah, I don't like Dean. I don't like many of his policy positions, and I don't like that his is loose with his mouth. But slander?
