6. Me too
Frankly, I think this would be a big mistake on Hillary's part. Besides, if I were going to jump the Kucnich ship, there's other Democrats in the race I'd pick over her.

Edited on Sat Aug-30-03 11:25 PM by Boom_cha
I think I would come down with a severe case of candidate overload. I'd probably need a couple of months to reassess the field.

19. Hillary Actually AGREES With The DLC
Far beyond merely getting DLC backing, Hillary actually buys into the "third way" corporate hookering and triagulation that made 2000 such a fun year to be a Democrat. I think she is great and all, but her political ideology is nowhere near my own. As much as I give Dean a hard time, I'd definitely put him before her.

But, ultimately, I'm a Kerry man to the bone.

25. My biggest complaint with her
is that she didn't divorce Bill after the Monica (and who knows how many other) thing. I feel that remaining in the White House with that power was more important to her than her dignity. If it had been my wife, I wouldn't be typing this today.

Howard Dean all the way!

27. MYOB
I look at politicians as public servants, not public soap operas. How anyone conducts their personal life, as long as they are not hypocritical, is their private life in my book.

If, say, someone did did cocaine in college, then enforced draconian drug laws as Governor of Texas, then that might be a different story.

28. It bugs me too
My husband, however, sees it exactly the opposite! He thinks she showed so much dignity during that whole mess and that she truly just loves the old hound dog. He just loves Hillary and every few days it's 'Hillary's entering the race'... me: 'no she's not'... he: 'yes she is and she'll beat Bush too!'. The funniest thing is he is not what you'd think of as a Hillary supporter, drives an old truck, fishes, used to hunt, big old mess of crap in the garage and car port, recently got a pair of overalls for gawds sake! Hillary's biggest fan... too funny!

Ummm... but if he'd done to me what Bill did to Hillary, he wouldn't have much to say about anything... if you know what I mean!

I like her a lot but I am a Dean supporter all the way, and I am not switching. She promised New Yorkers that she will not run and she has said all along that she is not running and it would piss me off if she just jumped in now that it looks like we have a shot at winning.
