Hey Dean contributors...my 15 minutes of fame
If you haven't been there yet today, go to DeanforAmerica.com and check out the Featured Dean Team Leader site, on the right side of the home page. That's my wonderful daughter in the photo.

I received a nice letter from the campaign notifying me that they would be periodically selecting Team Leader pages to be featured, and that mine is the first!

I created this site on a whim a few weeks ago and never did anything with it, but there it is. If you are inclined to donate, please use the link on my site.

(hey is this like posting an ad? Sorry, but there is just so much negative Dean stuff on this forum today -- what was that nonsense about how Dean plunged Vermont in the "best places to raise a kid" stats? Damn that evil Dean! Eats puppies...tortures children...)

1. Congrats!
I wish I could become a Dean Team Leader...You have to donate on the site for that right?

3. I don't think so.
I believe I had the option to donate when I set up the page (to get the thermometer going), but I don't think I had to donate anything. Check it out. It was so easy, I set up my site in about 30 minutes.

4. My next $25 bucks...
Will be sent via your site! Keep doing the "little things" and don't get bogged down in the anti-Dean muck around here.

There are so many good things happening in DeanLand to counter the negativity.

Example - i check the site today, and was a little let down that "only" 350 or so people had registered for the rally in Philly. I come back to the blog later to find 4,000 had showed up! Little suprises like that help keep me convinced that Dean will continue to innovate and outpace the field right into the White House.

So, let's see if we can get that contribution number up for ya! :-)

PS - you must be very proud of your daughter!

6. Thanks!
The negativity on here mostly comes from 1 person, with a few others kicking in from time to time, so I don't give it much weight.

Yes there are so many positive things happening with the campaign, they are doing so much right.

My daughter is wonderful! Of course I know her interest in Dean is about working on a project with her mom, but she has read a lot of the information about him and asked a lot of good questions. She attends MeetUps with me and has written letters to people in Iowa and New Hampshire. Whatever happens, this is a great experience for her -- she is learning at a young age that she can participate in the process and make a difference. My parents did the same for me.
