World's Smallest Political Quiz -

So, you think you know where you stand, politically.Think again. The
result from this short test may surprise you and give you some food for
thought.

You'll be asked just 10 questions, and then it instantly tells you where
you stand politically. It shows your position as a red dot on a
"political map" so you'll see exactly where you score.

The most interesting thing about the Quiz is that it goes beyond the
Democrat, Republican,and Independent.

The Quiz has gotten a lot of praise. The Washington Post said it has
"gained respect as a valid measure of a person's political leanings."

The Fraser Institute said it's "a fast, fun, and accurate assessment of a
person's overall political views."

Suite University said it is the "most
concise and accurate political quiz out there."

3. Liberal
Your PERSONAL issues Score is 80%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 40%.

According to your answers, the political group that agrees with you most is...

LIBERALS usually embrace freedom of choice in personal
matters, but tend to support significant government control of the

economy. They generally support a government-funded "safety net"
to help the disadvantaged, and advocate strict regulation

of business. Liberals tend to favor environmental regulations,
defend civil liberties and free expression, support government action
to promote equality, and tolerate diverse lifestyles

allegedly 100 pct. in social issues and 40 pct. in economic issues. Whatever. Sort of a neat quiz though.

6. Praise from whom?
Looks like a bunch of naive bullshit to me.

A libertarian is someone who believes that they stand on equal footing with Bill Gates and that the market, not the government will get them a better OS.

Your PERSONAL issues Score is 80%.
Your ECONOMIC issues Score is 20%.

I wonder what the breakdown looks like for the number of liberals out of the 13+ million people who have taken their quiz?

Sounds right - at least better than the 'right', 'libertarian', 'statist' and 'centrist' alternatives.

15. Simple quiz
It's simple and it does an ok job giving you a quick look at where you stand but it's not comprehensive enough to fully engage where you stand because it's limited on questions.

17. Indeed... according to my score, I'm on the left border of "centrist"
... which I guess I sort of agree with because I'm pretty open minded and feel a sense of personal responsibility myself with my lot in life.

Yet, I don't like the term... I just prefer "open minded"!
