Obama is shown saying the Lord's Prayer at Sen. Kennedy's funeral while Dubya keeps his mouth shut

I'm watching Teddy Kennedy's funeral on TV, and the camera swings across the congregation during the Our Father, and
there's President Obama saying the prayer, while the former president is standing with his mouth shut.

I'm not saying that this means anything at all. Maybe President Bush was praying internally.

BUT, you can bet that if it had been the other way around, you know the conservatives would all be using this as
evidence that Obama was either not religious or that he must be a Muslim.

Doesn't really mean anything. People pray verbally and in silence. Former President could have been praying silently right along with the current President.

Bush was like Reagan who was never known to pray and never belonged to a church and rarely attended church services throughout his entire life.
His mother lived with him for some time in Hollywood and she took his kids to church each Sunday

Just like the conservatives went nuts over Obama not wearing a flag pin or putting his hand on his heart during the pledge of allegiance. They went nuts when he quoted from the Koran a bunch of times when speaking in the Middle East and now they're all up in arms because he seems to have bowed before 4-5 dictatorial leaders of 3rd world countries.

Bush knows better than to speak. He doesn't want a new highlight reel with him messing up the Lord's prayer. ;)
