Doyle not to run in 2010?

Anyone have any ideas on why and who might run in his place? I think he's done a lot for the state, especially, given what the Federal gov't did under Bush to make things very difficult for all states. And, I can't, off the top of my head, think of anyone as able as him to lead the state in the right direction.

I know the RW asshats in this state have targeted him, but everything I've investigated has turned out, so far, to be just them trying to make a "mountain out of a molehill" out of their frustration.

and she will win. She is a lot better than Doyle anyway.

I get philosophy. But, I care more about specific ideas and how well she is able to implement them. Care to elaborate? I'm not trying to be difficult. I am not familiar with her stances or how she operates at a political level.

5. Good news. Doyle is not well liked here in WI, even by Dems. He would have lost.

I wasn't looking forward to having to vote for him.
