Bill Richardson for Secretary of State Petition

I'm going around and circulating a petition to implore/urge President-elect Obama to choose Bill Richardson as Secretary of State.

The man is respectable, driven, credible, and he has integrity that we dearly need in our foreign relations. He's also got experience and a level head. These, and other characteristics he has are what we need in my opinion.

I would have to disagree about Clinton (Hillary). She's just to abrasive, and we really don't need abrasive - not with the damage already done; Mr. Clinton though I think would be better served at another position (as would Mrs). Richardson's got the foreign policy experience among other things. He's well known for pushing for democracy, diplomacy, etc... He just has the skills, moreso than most anyone else out there.

I'd be okay, not great, but okay if Kerry got the nod.

...I think it would be very amusing if Hilary got it after Bill sold his soul to endorse Obama in exchange for this plum role that Obama offered and will now take back. Ah, ain't change great.

...it isn't fair, and never is - never will be. Clinton should've endorsed Obama because of what he represented, not what he hoped to gain. Typical politician.

Dude, listen. I have nothing against her.

I just don't like her as Secretary of State. As I mentioned - I could see her in another position. So again, nothing against her. I see Richardson as much more qualified as well as the better type of individual in mindset, etc.

Just an opinion, so don't have a coronary over it.
