Gee ... this exchange wouldn't suggest that McCain already was given the questions, right?
MCCAIN: A union -- a union between man and woman, between one man and one woman. That's my definition of marriage.

Could I -- are we going to get back to the importance of Supreme Court Justices or should I mention --

WARREN: We will get to that.

MCCAIN:

WARREN: You're jumping ahead (inaudible).

---------------------------------------

Until that point, the Supreme Court was not mentioned to McCain ...

1. Good point. I wondered about that.
Why did McInsane bring up the Supremes when they hadn't been mentioned yet. At least they hadn't been mentioned during his interview. I didn't catch that Jumping Ahead comment.

Good catch zbdent

2. Hannity was accusing Obama of having the questions ahead of time also
When the question of dealing with orphans came up, Obama said that he had researched this topic ahead of time, Hannity said this was proof that Obama had the questions also. I don't believe that for one second.

4. Usually you don't mention you did research ahead of time if you are cheating

5. I think that Obama was given a list of potential topics. McCain, was given the actual questions
Obama probably knew some of the topics that would come up, no big surprise there. But I don't believe for a second that Warren didn't send McCain's staff a list of the questions ahead of time. McCain was simply too quick with his answers, too well rehearsed. Obama's responses were much more natural, what you would expect from someone who had done his homework, but not necessarily had access to the questions.

6. Considering Rick Warren is a big supporter of adoption
and taking care of orphans, it would have been really stupid for Obama NOT to have done research on the topic.

3. The shadow of a cheap
politician doing the usual(and witha wink, permissible, even admirable) covers over the more important subtance of his replies. Insincere, contrived cover for a woeful personal and career record to a contrived audience who would vote for the god emperor Caligula if he spread the favors around and promised to be against abortion. the fact that the basis of the Christian discernment in these matters says more about the equally sorry mind and morality of the audience who would and do give their very souls for a dictator because they can't ever win fair power for themselves without the crooked, relatively Godless, GOP.

The old evil two step where the "cheating" meme outshines the bald hyprocisy of the sorry performance and
the deeper and more upfront appalling reality of the noxious importance of such a rigged forum simply grants a GOP immoralist points for saying what the fellow senitmaental hypocrites want to hear.

Obama should never have attended. Meetings like this never did JFK much good. Preaching to the choir is one thing, speaking honestly to people adamant for the lie is weak. Jesus would have laid them out in in the aisles.

7. This exchange is strange too: "YOU GOT ALL MY QUESTIONS, GOOD."

11 ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN, THAT'S MY DEFINITION OF MARRIAGE.
12 ARE WE GOING TO GET BACK TO THE IMPORTANCE OF SUPREME
13 COURT JUSTICES.
14 Q WE'LL GET TO THAT.
15 A ALL RIGHT. OKAY.
16* Q YOU GOT ALL MY QUESTIONS, GOOD.
17 A WHEN WE SPEAK OF THE ISSUES OF THE RIGHTS OF THE
18 UNBORN, WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT JUDGES, BUT ANYWAY GO AHEAD.

8. Reminiscent of the Bush "Let me finish" comment, when he still had plenty of time...

...and nobody was speaking to him, during the 2004 debates.
