'Obama' Confetti Litters Neighborhoods Outside Coachella Fest

Residents living near the Empire Polo Grounds where the three-day Coachella Fest wrapped up are cleaning up following a political statement gone awry.

Folks in about half a dozen neighborhoods northwest of the Polo Grounds in Indio found confetti with the word "Obama" on them littered in their yards.

Residents say a plane was flying overhead Sunday night and released the confetti over concertgoers at the festival but missed its mark. Concertgoers say the confetti drop happened during the closing performance by Roger Waters of Pink Floyd.

Indio Police say they are working with the Coachella promoters, Golden Voice, to clean the mess.

Be it fowl or porcine, I'll take the paper confetti any day! Both are biodegradable, but paper isn't as odoriferous.

apparently it flew too high and exploded leaving several La Quinta homeowners with shredded vinyl in their yard. They will happily split the 10K reward and lifetime tickets to Coachella Fest
