How do I apply for political asylum in France?
Now that Edwards and Kucinich are out, if Hillary is the nominee, I predict 4 more years of Republican president. I'm emigrating somewhere.

1. What are you going to do if a Republican wins?
Besides the French didn't run when they were invaded....AKA the French Resistance.

6. I just said.
I'm predicting 4 more years of a Republican president. I'm emigrating if the Republican wins. I'm too old to be a resistance fighter. I give up. I've spent the last 8 years fighting, angry, and frustrated by the political mess in this country. You know very well that Hillary is unelectable, not because she isn't capable but because we are facing enormous numbers of old white cretins who believe everything Limbaugh and Hannity have to say about her.

15. Tell the voters in New Hampshire that she's unelectable.
Or the 75% of female voters in New York State who reelected her there.

She may not be popular among conservative men -- but no Democrat is. And women comprise 54% of the electorate.

IF she is the nominee, the only thing I'm worried about is election fraud.

2. I'm an Edwards supporter. I love Kucinich. I'm planning to fight for freedom here
I'm not going to do anything stupid that will give the Repukes the White House (such as vote for a useless 3rd party that has no chance), and I am going to fight for corporations to be regulated, the media's manipulation of the campaigns to be curtailed, and much more.

8. Let's see you stick around for Bush, but you leave for Hillary.
And you call yourself a "thinker"?

10. Huh?
Once again, I said I predict a Republican president. Ergo, I'm not abandoning Hillary, since she would not be President . . .

9. Why do you want to go to a French asylum?
Edited on Wed Jan-30-08 10:37 PM by TwoSparkles
They'll lock up you and put you on a thorazine drip. That's
no way to go through life.

Plus, the asylum's Nurse Ratchett will only serve as a constant reminder of what
you left behind in our country...only she'll have control of your daily schedule
and how many minutes you get in the day room!

:scared:

14. It's true...
...and Hillary reminds me so much of Nurse Ratchett.

If Hillary had one of those pointy origami nurse hats--the two would
be indistinguishable.

Hey, you're in CO though...Obama is doing very well
there!

20. You would have to do something that would make you persecuted in the US
and considering France elected an idiot for their leader it might be difficult to obtain asylum.
