2. Dennis is proposing some great changes for this country, such as

universal health coverage ("Medicare E" -- Medicare for Everyone), protecting American jobs and strengthening unions (goodbye NAFTA, GATT, WTO, Taft-Hartley), protecting Social Security retirement and lowering full retirement age back to 65, repealing the Patriot Act and restoring our civil liberties. These are changes people will support.

3. Message I just sent to Dennis
"Dear Dennis,

Your strongest supporter on Talk Radio has been Mike Malloy - but yesterday he was really mad at you because you refused to come clean on the LIES spoken by Bush about the uranium from Africa and the aluminium tubes mentioned in the State of the Union message.

I hope at this crucial time you are not diving for cover.

Please use the L word - and if you cannot we would like to know WHY.

At this crucial juncture you will lose support if you fail to call a spade a spade.

Do not spoil your record.

Jacob Matthan
Oulu, Finland"

4. Please listen to the man instead of talk radio pundits:
"BUSH WHITE HOUSE MANIPULATED CONGRESS"

Kucinich continued his antiwar leadership in Congress by taking to the House floor again today to speak out against White House deception that led to war, and to demand public hearings.

"Two days before the vote, on October 8, 2002, speaking in Cincinnati, the President spoke of his determination to attack Iraq: 'Facing clear evidence of peril, we cannot wait for the final proof -- the smoking gun -- that could come in the form of a mushroom cloud.'

"This chilling, apocalyptic statement was not based on clear evidence of peril, but was in fact based on falsehoods, hidden from public view by the office of the Vice President.

"Did the Vice President's office knowingly conceal information its own representative obtained that Iraq was in fact not attempting to purchase nuclear materials from Niger? Was the White House in possession of this same information prior to the President giving his shocking declaration in Cincinnati?

"There is no question that the President's statements -- we now know were false and misleading -- influenced the debate in this House and the decision to go to war. It is imperative we have open, public hearings to wash this stain from our national reputation."

24. Why should Kucinich...
have to come clean about someone else's lies? He has called Bush and the administration liars on many occasions and what's more he has consistently offered up legislation to get to the bottom of Bush's lies.

7. That's why Dennis is getting slammed more.
I knew he'd start moving up after the Moveon poll. More people are waking up to the REAL progressiveness of his voice. ALL truth, NO showboatoing.

19. if that is true & applies to DK...it also
applies to Dean Kerry & the others,eh Jiacinto??

Then DU is also obviously not an accurate sampling of public opinion...

But the endorsements for DK are accurate & all the people I connect one to one with are also accurate...

food for thought....

Peace

21. Holy cow
That's quite a turnaround.

Yippee for Dennis.

And look at the bump in Edwards. Personally Edwards is fourth or fifth on my list. How do Kucinichites feel about him?

22. Edwards gave * the go ahead
for the war in Iraq. So did Lieberman, Kerry, Gephart, and Graham.

That takes him, and them, off my list for the primary.

I've checked out his site; he sounds good on many issues. I want a candidate who will vote as good as he sounds.

I don't really have an order behind DK; he is my choice. When it is time to face *, my vote will go to ABB.
