A really stupid question
Do we know who's going to be giving the big speech at our convention?

1. Not a stupid question at all ...
I don't think it's been announced.

5. I'd do it if somebody asked :)
My first words would be:

On August 6th 2001, George W. Bush received a presidential daily briefing titled: "Bin Ladin Determined To Strike U.S." in which, the term "hijack" was specifically used. His solution to eliminating this threat was to continue his vacation in Crawford, Texas, while his administration worked on a pipeline deal with the Taliban in Afghanistan. The airline industry and energy industry's profits were more important than our nation's security.

A little over a month later 3,000 Americans lost their lives in one of the darkest moments in our great nation's history......

And, that would just be the beginning. I'd get pretty wild.

8. I heard mention of Al Gore...
but I can neither confirm nor deny that fact.
Hillary Rodham Clinton will be speaking, but I don't believe she will give the keynote speach.

9. Wouldn't it be fun for David Brock to give a (not THE) speech
at the Dem Convention?

Since he served as the hitman for Anita Hill, and knows firsthand a lot about the RW attacks on the Clintons.
