I'm writing from the campaign trail. Today I am in the Golden State - California - talking with voters across the state. And guess what's on their minds? That's right, jobs and our economy. People all over this country are seeing their jobs disappear only to reappear overseas.


In California alone, 284,000 jobs have been lost since George Bush took office. 117,000 Californians have lost their health insurance and more than 140,000 have filed for bankruptcy, mostly after having lost jobs or suffered a medical emergency.


And this story is not unique to California. It is happening everywhere I go. And people are tired of feeling their president just doesn't get it. Well let me tell you, I get it. And I plan to do something about it.


I have a comprehensive plan to lift up our working poor and help our middle class save for the future again. My plan provides economic security and opportunity to every working American, and will create one fair and equal tax system.


But in order to make my plan a reality, I need your help. We are six days away from Super Tuesday, and I need your help in getting the word out. We set a goal of raising $1 million by then, and we're one-fifth of the way there with $200,000 raised so far. Please give today, whatever you can -- $50, $100, $250.
