He gave up his senate seat. Does he get a cabinet spot? Attorney General maybe? Or does he go back to private life and making millions as a trial attorney? It seems a shame to not groom him for higher office down the road, someway.

1. Edwards is a talented guy --
-- and he can expect to have almost any job he wants.

He's got a good chance to top the ticket, a prettygood chance to be VP, and would be hired by almost anyone if by chance he's not part of our campaign after the convention.

The people of Iowa alone will adopt him. A lot of people love this guy.

2. I love this guy!
I hope he does not take VP.

Either he's President or, like an 800 lb gorilla, he does anything he wants.

Correct, he has a lot of money. If he's not President, I think he should stay very active in issues, work for either a non-profit or as an attorney for unions fighting against corporate moves against workers.

2008? Maybe...

4. Hopefully
I like Edwards. Hopefully he takes over the DNC, he seems like he could be a bridgebuilder between us DLC types and progressives

5. Attorney General would be the next logical step
Though I think it will be VP for Edwards. If ne chooses neither, he could run for governor of North Carolina in 2008, or possibly (if Liddy Dole is only in it for one term), another Senate run.

7. Maybe he can go to work in a mill, like his dad
Seriously, Attorney General is probably his next stop.
