At least Kerry did go to Vietnam and paid his dues
before coming back to protest the war. Compare this to Bush who got daddy's connection to join the national guards. As reported yesterday on ABC News, in those days if you were in the national guards you did not see combat. Today, of course this is different as many are in Iraq and many were killed.
But we find RWers who attack Kerry for belittling the National Guard. The guard that he belittle is the non-combat ones from 30 years ago.
