Russert was tougher than I expected him to be -- but you can feel it. It wouldn't take much prodding to get W to lose it completely, and they won't go there, they won't do that. And the WH protects him from anybody who might. That's why they stuck Helen Thomas in the back row.

I think that is what is behind the recent poll where:

37% strongly supported Bush's re-selection
47% strongly opposed Bush's re-selection

But 70% thought he would get re-elected, thanks to our totally corrupt media. Now everybody will just sit there like idiots when he steals it, and say, well, I guess I'm the only one who thinks he is a crook!
