Message from Martin Sheen to Dean supporters
Martin Sheen has joined the more than 3,500 people drawn to Iowa to help Howard Dean get out the vote for the caucus on Monday. Here is his message:

and here is a Des Moines Register article on Sheen campaigning for Dean (with Rob Reiner) "They like Dean, but love Sheen"":

I've a fan of Martin Sheen, as both actor and activist, for a long time. Congratulations from a Clark supporter.

2. That was so eloquently stated.....
It comes from his heart and passionate desire to take back this country. He makes me so proud to be a Daytonian. We have other left-wingers but he is our shining star.

3. Star power helps
I know more than a handful of people who have been calling Sheen their president the past three years.

4. I love these 3 paragraphs
<SNIP>
The pundits at the time all thought it was political suicide to openly question a president who was so high in the polls. But this campaign has never been about doing what people expected. It's about doing the impossible. It's about doing what is right for our country.

And the roar that came back from the crowd when Howard Dean had the courage to stand up for what was right—that was the sound of hope.

<SNIP>
Amen!

I support Howard Dean because he spoke sanity when nobody else would.

5. I saw them yesterday
They were great. Turnout was very good.

Its going to be very interesting to see if the young people do show up in large numbers at the cacaus on monday.

Sheen called Bush "a wretched man" in a "wretched administration." Reiner noted Bush campaigned in 2000 as a compassionate conservative. "George Bush told us he was a uniter, not a divider," Reiner said. "He lied."
