John Edwards Opens Pee-Dee Office in Florence
Edwards Campaign Opens Pee Dee Office In Florence
Senator Stakes Claim to First Campaign Office in the Region
COLUMBIA, SC: The Edwards for President South Carolina campaign today announced the opening of a new Pee Dee office in Florence and became the first campaign to open its doors in the region.
“As Democratic candidates, we cannot forget the importance of the Pee Dee,” Edwards said. “This year, I have campaigned in Florence, in Sumter, in Bennettsville, in Cheraw, and in Dovesville, and my trips will continue leading up to election day. This office is further evidence of my commitment to the region - a commitment of which I am very proud.”
Located at 184 West Evans Street in Florence, the new Pee Dee office builds on the campaign’s already strong presence in South Carolina. In July, the campaign opened its state headquarters in downtown Columbia and opened a Lowcountry office in North Charleston in September. Most recently, the campaign opened its Upstate office in Greenville in early November.

Pee Dee residents are encouraged to contact the new campaign office at 843-624-0039 or stop by weekdays between 10 am and 9 pm.

Edwards will return to the Pee Dee on Saturday, December 27th, when he will campaign at Brown’s BBQ in Kingstree, among other South Carolina stops.

5. Pee-Dee is a region and a river
Pee-Dee is Northeast South Carolina and it is a river that passes through SC and NC.

If you don't know what is important about the Pee Dee region, don't plan on running any campaigns in SC.

6. Thank you.
Fortunately, I'm nowhere near the Carolinas so I don't think I can harm any campaigns with my ignorance.
