There will be a campaign organizational meeting at the A.O.H, 58 Lowell Street, Peabody, on Wednesday, July 30 at 7:30 PM.

I don't know if the Senator will be there, but the man organizing the meeting has been a friend of his since they met when Kerry ran for Lt. Governor in 1982.

I'm sure anyone from this surrounding area saw the front page story in last night's "Salem News", so I won't go any further except to repeat the story that Mike Shultz, (the meeting organizer, and chirman of the Peabody Democratic Committee)drove up to a Kerry event in 1982 on his motorcycle, and put a lifesize cutout of Kerry behind the windshield when he got off. Kerry walked past and was taken aback by the sight of himself on the bike. A fast friendship was formulated.
