Avenue (Corner of Harvard Ave. and Seneca St. on First Hill in Seattle)

NOON – March - Gather at Harvard & Seneca

1:00-2:00- Rally

Featured Speaker at the Rally – Ed Asner.
High quality flyers and posters are available at the offices of the
Church Council of Greater Seattle (4731 15th Ave NE) and SNOW (225 N 70th)

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED We need volunteers for office work, faxing, phone
banking, and whatever you
can do. Please call 1-887-MAR 20th if you can help in any way. For a specific
task, note contact information below.

-become a point person for your neighborhood to organize the distribution of
s including: leafleting, posting on telephone poles, identifying store fronts
and other places that will agree to posting and leaving of leaflets. Contact

regarding media coverage. Press releases, contacts with television, radio,

-help with bannering or help create banners to hold at strategic locations -

FREEWAY BANNERING (The Plan)
Banners Being Built Banner building parties at MVP headquarters at
5:30pm to 9:30pm. Address: 915 West Blaine St.(on the west side of Queen Anne
hill)(ph:206-285-3219). Starting Feb. 23rd and alternating days thereafter
(Feb. 23, 25, 27, 29, and beyond if needed --call to check) nourishment] Banner building will be our focus until we have enough banners to
supply all available teams for March 6th.

Banner Teams being organized: Bannering teams are being organized. Send an
email to dougnielson@comcast.net with "bannering teams" in the subject line and
you will be added to a team in your area. Make sure to mention where you are
from so we know who to hook you up with. If you already have a banner team or
are otherwise doing your own thing please connect with us.
March 6th Banner Blast! Saturday, March 6th from 11am to 1pm on an
overpass near you. This is the day we want to get the most people on the most
overpasses with most banners advertising the March 20 Rally.
Rational: This will get everyone's attention, including the media's,
exactly two weeks before the big event. We will organize bannering before and after
this date (stay tuned), but this is the big one. Find out the different ways
you can help. Please send an email with "banner" in the subject line and you
will get a quick response with more details and you'll also be added to a list
