On March 20, 2003, more than fifteen thousand people marched down Chicago's Lake Shore Drive to oppose the beginning of the war on Iraq. This March 20, we'll finish that march - and join millions across the world in sending a clear message to the U.S. government: The Midwest STILL says no to war!

I would love to get a group together for this. Post here if you're interested and we'll see what we can get together. It make not change anything, but I can't describe what an awesome feeling it is taking to the streets with like-minded people.

I just got an email from my sister (who lives in downtown Chicago). She will be home that week-end so I am going to head up sans kids and hubby and have some girl time with my baby sister.

I am sure it will involve a week-end of partying but I deserve it. I am ready for a good time and am soooooo looking forward to spending some time with my sis AND meeting some of my friends from DU!
