Looks like it starts at Delores Park . We could meet near
the playground . It ends at the civic center so we will
be near our favorite place for Cocktails. Where we go from
there is up to you guys , but a place to eat might be a
good idea .

I'm not bringing a sign because Hell has made an awesome
banner for us to carry Yeehaw :D

so who is all in ? Please PM me if you have any questions.

Also I'm going to request a Gathering link on the front
page .

Though I may of may not be able to march with you guys. I am possibly putting together a new Bush Wall of Shame for the march, so I might have to spend the morning putting it up at Civic Center.

It's all still up in the air, but will keep you posted. I can make sure to hand off the banner to to you in advance if it happens.

We've decided to go away one weekend each month. February was Santa Cruz. March will be SF, to coincide with the protest. Any suggestions of places to stay?

27. The snow is pretty deep this year

but am lucky to have an all-wheel drive and don't mind the snow at all.

It will be nice to see all of you again. We don't have anything like this group up here and you are literally my only source in the exchange of ideas concerning current events.

Didn't know when I moved up here what a large right wing group resides here. Hard to find a Democrat, almost have to ask in hushed tones and then rejoice when someone volunteers that they are a Democrat.

in case some people can't make it to SF, there is a march and rally in San Jose, CA. on the same day.

I went to a small Peace March today in Santa Cruz. Some folks there clued me into the event in SJ. It's sponsored by the many of the same people that are involved in SF. For more info:

Starts at 12:30 pm near Roosevelt Park. Easy access for me, ample parking, so I'm told.

Tinoire and I where talking last night and saying how it's been too long since we've all hung out together. This should be LOTS of fun. :)

Tin is bringing the DU bumpersticker for TJs wall (hey Arcane, TJs could use two!).

I have the DU banner ready to go -- it's looking nice, if I say so myself. ;) I'll be at Civic Center all morning, so I'll need to get it somehow to someone who is walking in the march. Anybody want to talk about hooking up to pass it along?

Tahoe Mom will be down for the day but will be hanging with me at The Wall. Grandma Bear, wanna hang with us?

The weather is supposed to be sunny and in the 70s Saturday, so don't forget the sunscreen and water.

:hi: Tahoe Mom and I will be stationed at the flag poles on the south side of the Center, right across the street from the Bill Graham auditorium. Look for the poles and a long, white "wall" with ballons attached to it -- that'll be us. I'm bringing a couple of chairs and some snacks/drinks so we can be comfortable. I recommend bringing an umbrella/parisol or big hat if you have one -- it's been scorching here. We'll probably be there early -- 9:00am or so.

meet Hell Hath No Fury get the banner hop
on Bart or Muni to get to Delores Park.

I have no idea how to drive there , but from
bart get off at 16th st walk uphill to the church
and make a left and then down to Delores Park.
