An idea to involve the anti-war churches.

Here is an idea;

On March 19th, at 6 AM, all of the anti-war churches in the country should toll their bells one time for each American soldier who has died in action up until that moment.

I think this could make a powerful statement both of the magnitude of the tragedy and of the number of good people who opposed it.

2. Man, that IS an excellent Idea

Which churches or congregations do you think should be notified of this? The only ones I know of are "bell-less" right-winger types. Name some if you know..I'd love to call them in my area to suggest the idea. :thumbsup:

3. I did some emailing

Before crashing last night, I wrote the Church of the Brethren and the Mennonites.

Some people on the Mike Malloy board have contacted a bunch of other churches already.

Nice when an idea does itself!
