February 5, 2004 - Miami, FL - Protest Chief Timoney of FTAA infamy! Attend public hearing on police conduct during FTAA ministerial. Miami police Chief Timoney testifying at CIP (Citizen Investigatory Panel) 5:00 PM, Thursday, Feb. 5, Miami City Hall. 3500 Pan-American Blvd. We are urging as many people as possible to join us outside as we show the truth of what the Miami police force did while Timoney tells his lies inside. The joint hearing is being convened by the Citizen Investigatory Panel (CIP) of Miami and the Independent Review Panel (IRP) of Miami Dade County. Directions from the north : I-95 south until it ends and merges with US-1 (Dixie Hwy.). Take US-1 to Unity Blvd. (27th Ave.), make a left. Go to Bayshore Dr., make another left. Make a right on Pan-American Blvd. to City Hall. Although the hearing starts at 5:00pm, it will be going on for several hours, so it's still worthwhile to get there even if you're late.
