The Democratic Kid met The Democratic King,Ted Kennedy
Edited on Sun Feb-01-04 11:05 AM by The Democratic Kid
Sen.Edward Kennedy was at Cesar Chavez High School Friday morning in Phoenix AZ. He was their campaigning for Sen. John Kerry. I met him, he signed my W.Bush poem and I had a picture taken with him. He allowed people to come up to him, they surrounded him, took pictures and he signed autographs. Kennedy has true guts. He doesn't duck and hyde like W. Bush. Kennedy is a true warrior. I handed him a 19 page packet of stories about abuse, neglect, and people being ripped off by this greedy, corrupt health care system of ours. I asked Him to join with me and the millions of others around our country that are fed up by declaring May 1st, (May Day!). A national day of protest for health care reform. May 1st is you chance to speak out. Tell others to write their stories down and gather their medical bills and send them to Washington DC. Make calls, go to your state capitol, call your elected officials and ask why should they have better health care than the people they serve. Stay tuned, the Democratic Kid is the real deal. Monday I will be going to see Sen. Kerry. I will give him the same info. I gave Sen. Kennedy. The stories I gave Kennedy were the ones posted on the du post, called mail them your bills.
Take care,
The Democratic Kid
MAY DAY1 MAY DAY! for health care reform, spread the word all over the net and tell everyone.

3. Yay, Demo Kid
My sneaking suspicion is you gave my post to the senator. :) I wonder if I'm gonna get a call from them now...lol I wouldn't mind explaining my story to them.

May Day for health care. Thanks for all your help. We will win. We must keep the faith and protest.

7. You just made my day
We need to investigate auto insurance companies also. Especially bad faith companies. Mine won't pay my claim for an accident I had two years ago. They say I have pre existing injuries. Like some 54 years of age doesn't.
Anyhow, thanks for your great post.
