California grocery chains in cahoots against workers

This is a link to a discussion this past Tuesday about Krogers and some other stores engaged in a revenue sharing agreement with Safeway/Vons in SoCal. You may know that S/V is trying to Walmart their employees' jobs (reducing important benefits such as health care and pensions).

Now it appears the Calif State Attorney General is bringing suit against the agreement.

I shouldn't be surprise, but I can't help being outraged. I hope the State cleans up on these robber barons.

1. The stores save money by using scabs
this isn't any different than walmart hiring illegals for less than minimum wage.

The the desire for these stores to keep scabs permanently is more than obvious.

A lock-out is the "low skilled worker" company's dream come true.
