A reliable repug drinking buddy has made it known that GWB will be in town for a rich guys' lunch Aug 21. Don't have the venue yet, but will keep you posted. Bunnypants liked the Hilton last time around in Little Beirut.

The Repugs have made it official:

Bunnypants in PDX August 21 for a luncheon fundraiser (venue still TBA)

Next day in Seattle, though we haven't heard what the plans are.

Why the hell can't the GOP hold their Oregon parties in Prineville, the part of the state that actually votes for 'em. Every time they do it in Portland, we spend hundreds of thousands on police overtime and cleanup, not to mention lawsuits courtesy of police brutality issues. Then again, they probably enjoy it, especially in light of passing our recent local school levy.
